EnterpriseEC® is an Internet-based Electronic Trading Network (ETN). An ETN is a Business-to-Business Electronic Commerce network that combines secure electronic document delivery with a web-based interface to manage trading partnerships and document control. EnterpriseEC® leverages the Internet to reduce cost, increase visibility, and maximize the benefits of conducting business electronically. For Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), data has traditionally been sent and received using proprietary, private networks. These networks, known as Value-Added Networks (VAN), provide e-Business trading communities with a secure, store-and-forward method of conducting Business-to-Business Electronic Commerce. Many organizations that have historically used VAN services are now leveraging the Internet as a platform to cost-effectively conduct EDI with customers, suppliers, and other business partners. They are finding that in addition to lowering the cost of EDI, the Internet offers increased control and visibility of managing EDI relationships. EnterpriseEC® exemplifies the benefits of
leveraging the Internet to Connect, Integrate, Manage, and Expand e-Business
trading communities.

Connectivity Regardless of how a company wants to connect to EnterpriseEC®, or the myriad of ways its business partners prefer to send and receive data, EnterpriseEC® eliminates the complexity of supporting and managing multiple connectivity methods. Customers connect to EnterpriseEC® the way they want, and EnterpriseEC® handles connecting to all of its trading partners. EnterpriseEC® supports all Internet-based communications protocols, including EDI-INT AS1 and AS2. In addition, EnterpriseEC® supports other non-Internet protocols, such as Async and Bisync dial-up communications. An additional option is a Secure-FTP connection
with software that is provided at no cost. Our EnterpriseEC® IP
Connect software runs on any Microsoft® Windows® platform to
automate and manage data communications with EnterpriseEC®. |

Traditional VAN Inter-connectivity One of the major benefits of using a traditional Value-Added Network is the fact that all major VANs interconnect with one another. This allows a customer of one VAN to send and receive data to business partners on other VANs without requiring accounts on multiple networks. EnterpriseEC® accomplishes this same ability via a secure connection to IBM Business Exchange Services (BES). IBM is a leading provider of both traditional and Internet-based Value-Added Network services. EnterpriseEC® customers gain access to thousands of potential trading partners with the knowledge that traditional VAN inter-connectivity is being handled in the background by IBM. |

Management EnterpriseEC® provides a Web-based interface to easily manage your entire e-Business trading community. Multiple users gain access to a wide variety of information about trading partners and the data that they send and receive. The EnterpriseEC® interface provides tools for
monitoring the successful receipt of data by trading partners and the
ability to automatically e-mail messages to trading partners who have
not acknowledged receipt of data in a timely manner. |
